A Ray of Hope

This thing has become a habit for me, if all the above at 8 pm after practice, I go and hang out with my friends. And we usually walk around the P. Siantar City. Sometimes at the dinner crowd.

There's a place our customers, selling fried rice, precisely in Jl.Kartini, P. Siantar or Jl.Sudirman intersection. If Siantar's people often say Nasi Goreng Idola. We often hung in there with the excuse that the food was so delicious, spicy and a gathering place for a pleasant enough.

To the point, the Seller Nasi Goreng a worker has a son who was about 18 Years. Tall, white and silent. Maybe because I grew up in a family environment and the middle and upper economic relations with people my level, so I was impressed proud of the people who are not level. And workers' sons was named Elvin (name because my friend asked the child's name), I am often struck that every time I order food. Because he kept forgetting and looking rather foolish.

One of my friends named Nora (high school teacher Parapat, Girsang Sipanganbolon) always advised me, if I can not do it. And she said to Elvin, "Bro, if this brother was sitting and do not ask again, what message he wants, because you already know what he likes."

One night, Nora asks the same Elvin, "You live where?"
Elvin, "In Negeri Dongeng, Sister."
Nora, "You graduated from what?"
Elvin, "I never graduated from junior, sister."
I quickly snapped, "Why not go to school?" Elvin and replied, "My mama's dead, Bro. Beside me there is no cost to the school."
Nora, "oooo yes already."
And when I started thinking, means that Elvin was a child difficult. But I do not care.

Day after day, with our habit to eat Nasi Goreng Idola, I have two nights watched Elvin does not work. Curious, I asked him to Nora to ask a friend of workers as well. Apparently Elvin sick that day. I feel guilty arises, why I was so arrogant and often yelled at him. But he was anxious to serve a variety of characters customers.

Finally I decided I was with Nora to see him. And until addressed, we parked next to the store and down the steep stairs. Oh God, but how the plight of this community in Negeri Dongeng. Life is so dilapidated, poverty is seen.

Elvin surprised by our arrival. I looked at his family. And the father came, day-to-day work as a carpenter. We spoke at length to find his family. At that time he was cooking lunch for his father and sister. Because the father came, my father continued to cook. In my heart, I am very sad, it was Elvin including family backbone.

I realized there was no point in vain. Oh God, I found I was still someone you love luck. Apparently many people who are not lucky like me. Thank God, you take me through Elvin.
